Are you implying movie fly fishing scenes wouldn’t be nearly as good if they were a guy doing nothing but roll casts on a tiny creek and constantly swearing cause he’s always hung up on the bank!!

Would be for me!

STOP

TOUCHING

YOUR

FACE

Unless you are stuck in a bathroom with a positive person for a good amount of time the only way you are gonna get this is touching your face after touching the virus?

99% of transmission and infection is when you touch your face prior to cleansing hands thoroughly.

I was in hospital other day (not sick) and literally watched a nurse come out of a patient room in full PPE..she then took everything off after leaving the room and then proceeded to rub her eyes...I thought..well...she’s infected now.

Stop touching your face!!

Yeah and not sure why...I think it's kind of a 'dead' time really until May for traveling up north and such. I do think plenty in the state ignored the warnings and continued to go out to bars, etc. until they had to close it all down.
I saw a graphic this week - can’t seem to find it now to link but it showed the spread through travel from the 1st cases in Washington . There was a large amount of travel from Washington to Wisconsin so am wondering if there is a shared industry or something , can’t really see Milwaukee being a hub over O’Hare but maybe . I’ll keep looking for it , it was interesting .

I wondered if our proximity to Chicago helped but IDK. I never heard where the sprout of cases two Fridays ago originated from. There was one family that had it that week from travel in the main city and then boom, 3 more in my suburb from church....5 days prior. So it was already circulating 5 days prior to confirmation of community spread.

I agree some will. But call centers and mail rooms can't work from home. A large company I do consulting for has most of their employees working from home except for their "operations" staff and some of their IT staff.

A lot of places have work from home capabilities for call centers. My place included and we aren’t super cutting edge or anything. Mailroom totally though. Those are about the only ones in the building at this point.

Not sure exactly. We have like 450 total cases but only 220 active cases.

Iowa has almost 300 with 46 in the hospital and around 16-20 that are out. Not sure what you call the other roughly 240. When you go through the numbers about a fourth are missing.

got room at your place? I'll be quieter this time.

missed your question earlier. We have an unfinished basement you can have. If you entertain the toddler for like an hour a day I won't even charge rent.

I noticed that too . They weren’t reporting some of those numbers early on , wonder if those are the ones missing .

The only thing I can guess is the graphic for the hospitalization numbers which states "Hospitalization figures are for the previous 24 hour period" means the 24 hour period prior to all other data. It's not exactly clear what it means. Like it's a day behind the updated numbers of new cases, deaths, etc.

Madison had one of the very first confirmed cases in the US.

is that the one back in early Feb.? That was travel related IIRC but I suppose there could have been contact with others before that was caught. I didn't think we had any additional for a few weeks there.
