Didn't we finish 2nd on this K State linebacker recruit last year.......could he be headed our way?

that is almost as good of a football name as this kid i played against a few years ago... nick nasti, now starting LB for eastern illinois.

He's already enrolled at KSU so conference transfer penalties make any move within the conference highly unlikely. Current recruits or commitments who choose to reopen recruiting could be worth looking at.

could go juco a year and then have his option of what he wants .... just a thought ...

No, he would still have a problem. I pointed out earlier in one of the Bates threads that the Big XII policy of a year in residence and loss of a year of competition is still in effect for 4-2-4 transfer situations involving 2 conference teams.

I highly doubt we will see him.. He was pretty high on ISU, and a hard worker, but its too much hassle for him to leave just because Prince is, He liked KSUs facilities and campus and school too.

Their commit list isn't that impressive. They have 10 commits and only four 3*s. It sure looks like they hit Oklahoma hard, as they have four commits from that state (none from TX and one from KS). Their best recruit seems to be OL Michael Bowie. We were after him, but now he is setting up visits to OSU, KU and TT. Doesn't look good for us there. Most of the others are talking about staying with KSU and meeting the new coaches, per this rivals article:

That's actually some pretty impressive loyalty to the school. I have a feeling if our staff was out for some reason or another, the class would crumble like a house of cards.

Wasn't he the one who we backed off on for some reason or other? Did he get in trouble with the coaches on his recruiting visit? I thought I remembered him being in the bag if we wanted him, but chose another direction.

He was somebody the fans wanted because he was a three star LB with a cool name, but if I remember correctly, the staff wasn't as high on him.

Cool name for the guy.

Hopefully we are recruiting some d-backs name Mike Reallyfast
or Jim hitsrealhard.
