At the last presser, did Prohm really say that the game could have gotten away from them but found a way to keep it close? If that’s what he says playing against that KSU team He owes ISU his paycheck and resignation letter.
Unfortunately you are going to have quite a few options in the center balcony sections. I suspect you will see a 10-15% drop in those areas.
It’s not Twins. I have season tickets in 233 Row 5. People are shelling out $2,500 to sometimes $5k from a donation standpoint for those seats. In addition you have the $425 per season ticket price. I would say at least 10-15 people in the 4-5 rows around us said there good-byes at the West Virginia game. They are just tabbed our financially and emotionally. Those were the people that got hit the hardest with 250% hike when JP increased the required donation in 2015. It doesn’t make financial season for those people anymore. People use to be able to sell some tickets to games they couldn’t go to in an effort to offset the price. That’s not happening. You literally couldn’t give away even good balcony seats the last month of the season. I personally gave away 5 games this year including 3 Big 12 games.
$425 per ticket is nothing when you factor in what your donation is getting you for football. If you're donating just get basketball tickets I could see it but I don't know anyone that donates that doesn't go to football
When the season renewals come out this year people are going to have the ability to buy more season tickets and upgrade. This will be the first time since 2012 where a person could do that.
I think people really underestimate the effect the devaluation of tickets on the secondary market will hurt season ticket figures and attendance. I think alot of people were able to recoup a good portion of their expenses by selling tickets to games they couldn't go to. When you can't do that and you are 100% out-of-pocket for the entire cost, that stings alot more. Especially to watch bad, bad basketball.
That doesn't change what I said. Football will end up saving basketball just like basketball saved football under Rhoads at the end
I don’t think people are going to quit donating. But I do think you will see a decrease in people renewing basketball season tickets and a decrease in new donations. Just my opinion based on what I have seen and heard.
I mean if you're going to be dumping 5k for a donation I'm not sure why you wouldn't buy tickets but that's just me

When you pay someone millions of dollars a year it's not too much to ask to be successful and a good person.

ISU has been passing on Dana for 25 years. Hell JP has passed on him 3 times. He would really have to want the ISU job or to get back to the Big 12 bad to take a look at the job at this point.
This. Even when we were good my time was strapped, but it was worth it. Driving home after historic losses isn't on my list. I am a busy MFer though.
