Today’s starting lineup is the worst I’ve ever seen at ISU.
Injuries or not, your starting lineup should never be this bad in your 5th year at a school.
I’m 41 years old and can tell you this is the worst ISU team I’ve seen in my lifetime.
My four years at ISU were the McDermott years and can tell you this team couldn’t beat any of those teams.
I was the Floyd and Eustacy years; 96-01. Highs and lows for certain, but even the bottom teams then competed.
Once TH went down this team was worse than the 2001-2002 team. Larry was drunk. I’m not sure what Steve’s excuse is.
The most discouraging thing is that this team quit working. I remember even McD competing better with Clint Varely.
Two reasons: Money and a lack of confidence that JP will make a better hire.

It was actually Corey Johnson I was thinking of of. IIRC, there was a time in which we needed him to defend Oden!
That LE team with Varely is another example though.

It is really sad that we have fallen SOO FAR that it would be totally legitimate to consider taking back Greg McDermott.
McDermott is a legit good coach. He was terrible at Iowa St, got a great opportunity at Creighton, was blessed to have his son become one of college bball's greatest ever over 4 years, and still built 2 separate very good teams since then.
Sometimes it just takes a little time for a coach to figure it out. It's completely possible Prohm succeeds again after Iowa State.
Maybe Prohm being one of the worst coaches in cyclone history is a blessing in disguise......somehow Fred ends up back at ISU and brings back the magic to Hilton part 2
Alarming. Even if we win all of our conference games next year, the stat will still be unsettling after the years we've invested in this program.
