The greatest thing in sports happened again

I would say in the NFL you get to be the punter

NBA you get to come play a few minutes because everyone else fouled out or was injured

mlb you get put in the outfield

Yeah but is some regular fan going to go out and compete in an NBA game?

For a hockey goalie essentially you have to kneel down and stop a puck.

easier said than done ... just because you can skate doesnt mean you can play goalie ...

I'm not saying it's an easy gig.

But what that encompasses vs. the multiple things you have to do in the NBA just seem to be very different.

I think it's an awesome story, just food for thought about what it would look like in other sports or if it were actually possible.

Saw the ESPN stuff last night. The dude Had played some minor league stuff or so. So it’s not like he was completely out of the stands and Green. Although he borrowed the other team’s equipment minus jersey because the other team was home and he was the zamboni driver. The home crowd cheered for him even though they lost it was neat.

Was wondering about that...doesn't Army and Navy football have a similar thing, i.e. someone in stands that's on the team but doesn't dress unless call for?
