Prohm can’t win an ncaa tourney game with the pros over the last 3 years. Now Haliburton out. Time to save the program and hire the guy from Washington St. or another coach who has shown he can get hired somewhere and make the program better.

but not true. Attendance wasn’t great but far from bad. Lazy students don’t show up but honestly they don’t show up when we’re good.

I would put actual butts in seats at about 11,000. The balcony of the student section was barren. Other sections in balcony were 75% full, mostly full but there were def open spots too. 2 rows down from me, the entire row was empty... C'mon row 7!!

If Iowa State does not finish last this season, let's remember how truly awful the bottom of the Big 12 is this season.
In Prohm’s defense... he doesn’t get to coach against the worst coach in the league twice per season, which is a huge disadvantage when comparing him to other Big 12 coaches.
I only say it because there will be folks defending the job Prohm did this season because he kept ISU out of the cellar.
I love all the chairborne rangers here who are so knowledgeable and quick to judge.. Give me a break.. We lost a hell of a lot last year, and are having a down year. So instantly lets rip on freely. It gets real old, but I get it it is classic fandom in the internet age.

I don't see D1 hockey ever happening at ISU.
Our season average is like 7-8.
Hitting 11 gives you 9-12 more points.
When you are playing #3 at their house (and they are #1 on the computer rankings), you probably need to hit more like 17 if you are going to win.

Oh I actually expected worse as well, my point was only that 11 3s is a good performance from 3 at 47%....to still lose by 20 means most everything else was not good.
We might as well just disband the program at this point.
