The Fran fade

This makes me feel better about the rest of the season considering how clueless you are. This was posted less than a month ago:
I still believe CSP is a good coach. Losing our best player hurt, but hopefully some of the other guys will get a chance to develop for next year.
I stand by what I said, Iowa is going to be sweating on Selection Sunday.

So up until the last 1.5 games, ISU was just fine....right?

we play a brutal schedule compared to the hoks. We don't get to play Nebraska and NW. Tough for the young guys to adjust to that level of competition, especially when we didn't think we would have to count on them so soon. It's just a rebuild year. The program is fine. This is the peak for Iowa and they might not make the tournament. What an embarrassment. I hope you keep Fran for 15 more years.

Right now ISU's schedule is #5 and Iowa's is #6 on Kenpom. I would guess by the end of the year, Iowa will barely have a harder schedule according to Kenpom.

Well neither team will be in the tournament this year. At least we have a future. Have you seen your latest recruiting class? Woof.

If Wieskamp and Garza or even one of those guys comes back next year, then Iowa should be a tournament team.
Bubble team but Fran will find a way to destroy their chances. After next year it's back to the dark ages.

I think losing Garza would be a much bigger blow than losing Wieskamp, which is a good thing considering Garza's not likely to leave. I'd say it's 90% likely both will be back next year.

I think it is 50/50 that both come back and 20% that both leave.

Dang those are interesting odds. I think either way Iowa is going to have a shot to make the tournament with either of them back, but I'd probably say losing the highly efficient All-American would be a bigger blow.

Garza back for sure. He has no shot at being drafted.

Wieskamp feels 50/50. If he finishes the season well he can be a mid second rounder. If he comes back he'll be too old for what he is to ever get drafted imo.
