Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

So the 4 games he shot the most you guys lost? Lol that explains a lot
I'm not going to go through each game thread but it's safe to say the majority of his shots came near the end of the game. His shot attempts did not lead to them losing the game.

Lol yeah always a good sign to have a 36% shooter and 18% 3 point shooter to be taking the shots at the end of the game

Who was better?
Basabe as a Freshman or Basabe any other year?
Basabe was relied upon more as a Freshman than any other year. Aaron White joined the team Basabe's soph year.
Toussaint will lose playing time next year as well if everyone comes back and Bohannon is healthy.

Because I watched the 4 games where he shot 10 or more times. He shot a lot in catchup mode

You make it too easy

10 point loss to San Diego State he shot the ball twice in the last 5 min of the game

3 point loss to Penn State so no garbage time

6 point loss to Nebraska 3 shots in the final 5 min

10 point loss to Maryland 2 shots in the final 5 min

In those 4 games he shot the majority of his shots when they were behind and in catchup mode. I won't call it garbage time but definitely when they are trying to speed up the game to catch up.

He shot 3 times in the 1st half against Maryland. 7 times in the 2nd half when they were behind.

He shot 4 times in the 1st half against SDSU and 7 times in the 2nd half when they were behind.

He shot 6 times in the 1st half against Nebraska and 12 times in the 2nd half. Fredrick was out this game.

He shot 3 times in the 1st half against PSU and 11 times in the 2nd half.

So basically we've determined the more Toussaint shoots the worse Iowa does. Yikes
Nice strawman. Everyone here knows Toussaint would start for you guys next year and youd be lauding him as one of your bright spots for the future if you had him.

Enjoy pretending he sucks while you can. That argument is going to look more and more stupid as time passes, and that's already a low bar.

So why would someone who shoots 36% from the floor and 18% from 3 be the one shooting when you're trying to play catch up?
Why would someone who shoots 40% from the floor be the one shooting when you're trying to play catchup?
