Anyone else amazed at how bad both classes are this year?

Jacobson as a Junior: 11.1 ppg/57.6 fg%/34.0 3pfg%
Jacobson as a Senior: 6.7 ppg/40.7 fg%/27.8 3pfg%

Nixon as a Junior at Colorado State: 16.1 ppg/35.9 fg%/33.0 3pfg%/84.3 ft%
Nixon as a Senior at Iowa State: 8.1 ppg/33.8 fg%/23.1 3pfg%/66.7 ft%

Jackson: 3.7 ppg/33.3 fg%/33.9 3pfg%
Grill: 1.7 ppg/27.3 fg%/16.7 3pfg%

This has gotta be the worst senior and freshman classes in a long time.

I remember when Grill drained 2 threes in his first game. I don't remember him making one since. That's what the offseason is for. I still have high hopes for both of the freshmen.

Nixon while extremely disappointing gets a little bit of a pass (strictly speaking to comparing stats to last year) given his competition has gone up since he was at CSU.

Nixon and Jacobson are disappointing to me. The freshman let em play and grow. It wouldn't bother me if we benched Nixon and Jacobson for the rest of the yr and let the underclassmen get more experience.

I think you mean
Jacobson as a post ...
Jacobson in the-failed-experiment-trying-to-make-him-a-wing-paired-with-a-post ...

Nixon against Colorado State's schedule and closer 3 point line ...
Nixon against ISU's schedule and extended 3 point line ...

Jackson -- are you actually upset with those percentages?
Grill's numbers are poor.

I dont typically expect much out of freshman who werent top 75ish players. They tend to ned time to adjust physically and mentally. I think both freshman will be decent players by their junior years. Right now they are being forced I to some minutes they're not ready for.
