One of the best Fran recruiting stories IMO and he has a bunch

Pretty sure the Bonifas kid ended up getting his offer pulled at some point in the process.
It's not like Fran signed him and another guy and had them on campus for 3 months before realizing they couldn't play at this level so they transferred before playing a second of basketball.
He was really bad, Fran still offered him early trying to "lock down the borders". He tried to commit and Fran stopped returning his calls. Pissed a lot of people off up that way I know
That's not that great of a story.
Prohm signed 2 kids in the same class that couldn't even make it to their first college game before having to transfer out because they sucked.
I feel like you think that is something of a good comeback. It isn’t. Signing a convicted felon is a good comeback, signing guys who transfer when there is 1000 transfers a year is nothing.
Fran signed a class of Dale Jones, Christian Williams, Ahmad Wagner, Isaiah Moss, Brandon Hutton and Andrew Fleming a year after he signed a class of Tre Dickerson, Dom Uhl and Brady Ellingson
They could have stayed, sucked, then redshirted as sophomores but who does that?
How many transfer before even going through warm ups of their first game?
Considering it’s more than 1000 probably a few. I don’t know and I don’t care to look. How many coaches sign convicted felons?

Well if digging up old crap from the past that nobody cares about is all you have - run with it. You sure as hell don't want to talk about 2021 recruiting I guess.
I mean we just landed a stud OL recruit that Louisville wanted and you guys had no chance because of what Fran did to his relative. I mean it's pretty funny
If you think he's a stud you must be blown away by the O-lineman the Hawks already have in their class. Pretty unlikely they were going to have room for your guy anyway.
Has Ferentz ran off enough players (what baby ferentz says they don't do)? I know someone said Iowa was at 89 at one point.
