I honestly don’t know the answer to this, but have Doyle’s players won more national awards or gone on dialysis? I believe the 2nd number is 13.

CMC seems happy in Ames, and I doubt he leaves for anywhere other than an ideal job for him. I actually think you will see this more often, you saw it out of Brohm last year, I think CMC has turned down the opportunity to interview several times. Schools like ISU and Purdue can offer just as much money and way more stability, they are rightly staying at places that value them rather than going to schools that will fire them if they have a bad season.

Epenesa and Eno Benjamin are studs and really boosted their overall ratings.

Some of the Iowa kids are crap shoots (just like ours)


The QB they signed isn't very impressive.
They just took a DB commit today that has no other FBS offers and also a WR that has no power 5 offers.

Eno had a nice career at ASU but declared early for the NFL recently

He will be evaluated when he gets to Iowa City and it is felt he will be told he can't play football. This will get his education paid for, and open the scholarship back up for Iowa.

Hope things work out for the kid so he can at least get his education paid for. Sounded like a great kid from things that I've read about him. Freak accident. Very unfortunate for him and the Hawks.

As a parent, I can't imagine watching my kid play at this level after sustaining that kind of injury. It'd be mental and emotional torture.

Yeah, this is when there should be some sort of waiver where he can retain his scholly but not count against totals.
