If you're going to jump to the Big Ten you're better off waiting for a West job to open IMO
4 out of the 7 jobs in the West are better jobs than ISU so there is some truth to this.

I thought Matt Campbell led the team.Which job besides Wisconsin is better than a Brock Purdy led Iowa State team?

I would say Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, NW, and Minnesota are all better jobs than ISU. Not saying I would leave ISU for any of those jobs, but if all of those schools were looking for a coach at the same time as ISU then I would choose one of them.
How is Minnesota, NW, and Nebraska better jobs?I would say Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, NW, and Minnesota are all better jobs than ISU. Not saying I would leave ISU for any of those jobs, but if all of those schools were looking for a coach at the same time as ISU then I would choose one of them.
9 jobs in the Big 12 are better than Iowa. You could argue all 10 are now that Kansas has a National championship winning head coach
How is Minnesota, NW, and Nebraska better jobs?
MN football is so, so far down the totem pole for the State. That's a Vikings/Wild town. They've been better for longer, Minnesota has a brand new outdoor stadium and are the only P5 program in the state that has a decent population and recruiting base, NW is in Chicago and they are perfectly happy with going to bowl games so you can coach there a long time, Nebraska has a strong history and every coach there has recruited well.
Why do you think ISU is better than those jobs?
Iowa is one of the best jobs. Good fanbase and solid program and they don't fire coaches very often if at all and they pay well. I think a lot of coaches would love to coach at Iowa.
Pre-CMC you might have an argument there
I'd say Nebraska is a better job than Iowa State, but wouldn't say the other two are at the moment. NW and Minnesota are in huge cities where most people forget they even have college football teams.
Iowa is a better job lol. Wisconsin and Nebraska are too. I don't know about any of the others at this exact moment in time. What are you talking about? Iowa is the better job before CMC and still is.

LOL at thinking one player defines how good a job is.
ISU is equal to Northwestern in terms of how good the job is. Northwestern would be slightly ahead if they didn't have such tough admission requirements.

NW might have the best facilities in the midwest right now.
