Whatever Prohm is or isn't you don't want a fraud like Fran.

I'm not necessarily saying I want someone like Fran. I think he has a chemical imbalance or something with his occasional fits of rage-- especially towards refs. But I guess I don't hate seeing some fire out of a head coach and I don't think he was wrong to react to the Illinois coaches.

You forgot to add how Illinois did not listen to their coach and kept trying to foul.

You must have not watched the game. But I do like your ability to tell a story. The University of Iowa fans and administration are pretty good at fictional storytelling.

Prohm has shown fire this year, coaching and sub patters albeit are bad.

So on the dunk Illinois was falling back and not fouling with about 12 seconds left?

I guess I don't see it, other than the occasional poorly timed technical.

Watch the way Iowa's players, bench, assistants, etc. are compared to our bench. They are locked in and engaged and intense. I just don't see that on our sidelines.

Those geezers are intense?

You're tempting me to watch a game.

So someone keeps yelling at you and you are not supposed to respond. How do you know that assistant would not go after someone else?! He was chirping non stop. Maybe the Illinois assistant should have kept his mouth shut.

Illinois assistant should have kept his mouth shut. Fran should have also and just proceeded through. Two rights don't make a right. It's not difficult to not respond to a douchebag yelling at you. I seriously am laughing at the idea that people think they need to respond to things like that. Fran's team won the game, to me that is enough right there. You beat them where it matters, but you can't take someone who is upset and cranky about a dunk. I don't care about the dunk, no issues with it. If Fran thinks it is no big deal you ignore the outside chatter and keep moving. Looked like Underwood didn't care. If it is a deal to you, you get ahold of the opposing HC later and mention it to him and go on the belief that they will do what's right and have the assistant contact you and appologize. Why is that so hard for you guys to understand?

Prohm has been tougher on officials this year than I've seen in the past. There was a charge call against us against Baylor I didn't agree with that eventually led to a T.
And the players and bench, its because we aren't winning.

Fairly bad historian. Iowa was up 8 with 20 seconds. Illinois misses an open 3 pointer and Iowa rebounds with 13 seconds. Underwood calls for no more fouling. McCaffrey throws over the top and Weiskamp dunks with 10 seconds. Illinois hits 3 with 4 seconds to cut lead to 7. I’m sure Underwood was pissed that MCCaffrey threw over the top and that why he advised him team to foul.

These "unwritten rules" are so dumb. Who the hell cares if he dunks it? Grown men getting all butthurt over an extra two points is absurd. If you don't like it, guard them.

Same **** as the KSU/KU debacle.

They're definitely locked in-- coaching and helping strategize with Fran. If you take the time to watch I'm sure you'll see the difference between their bench and our bench.

The Iowa assistants were not yelling at Underwood and toward the Illinois bench........
