Fairly bad historian. Iowa was up 8 with 20 seconds. Illinois misses an open 3 pointer and Iowa rebounds with 13 seconds. Underwood calls for no more fouling. McCaffrey throws over the top and Weiskamp dunks with 10 seconds. Illinois hits 3 with 4 seconds to cut lead to 7. I’m sure Underwood was pissed that MCCaffrey threw over the top and that why he advised him team to foul.

A lot of hawk fans here seem to memorize our stats, records and everything here. Seems kinda sad that that is what they spend their free time with. I can't even tell you my kids' teams records.
I guess I am not 100% sure who he was yelling BS to before, after, and during his talk with fran. I was watching it live on TV and had to rewind it a few times. He seemed really upset at something that was "bush league". Like pressing down 7 with 12 seconds left is not an indicator of continuing the game. Think what you want and twist it like you do. But Fran did the right thing.
He is a Point Forward, positionless basketball, free flowing. Get with with the times haha.

So someone keeps yelling at you and you are not supposed to respond. How do you know that assistant would not go after someone else?! He was chirping non stop. Maybe the Illinois assistant should have kept his mouth shut.
No people have yelled at me, I stay calm and just continue doing what I'm doing. If I'm walking, I keep walking. If I'm standing there, I just stand there. If I choose to respond back, I keep my voice call and respond, otherwise I don't say a word. Fran is the typical bully style guy, he wants to yell and threaten, but if you stand your ground, he will run away. It's not a difficult thing to do for people who are comfortable with themselves.
