Honestly, Tech was slow on gelling, they are vastly improved since the start of the season. They didn’t win the conference last year and made the title game.

Tech was a neutral site game, like an NCAA game would be. Iowa beat them, is higher in kenpom and the NET. So no, just no, Iowa would no doubt be 4th in the Big12, but is stuck in a tougher conference and they are in 5th place in the Big10.

I agree, missing Jordan to injury has really hurt Iowa. The Big10 studio crew was talking about how tough it is for Iowa being down 2 starters and a 4* player. I am not surprised that they are saying the exact thing I have been saying on here for a long time. That is very impressive to do what Iowa has done up to this point down so many players.

Iowa didn't have a PG with Bohannon either. Blows my mind Fran has been there for a decade and the best PG he's landed is Mike Gesell

Yeah I'd agree with that.. It's not set in stone that we were an 8 seed. I do think we probably the third or fourth 7 seed and got bumped to a 6 seed though.

When your team loses, fans / media of the team usually are critical in why, that doesn't pertain just to Iowa State fans lol. But I also agree with you in the fact that this person is mad Iowa couldn't stop one of the best penetrators in all of college basketball. Cowen is an absolute stud.

LOL, Jordan was the PG of the team last year and was 1 pt away in regulation from the Sweet 16. Tough losing a leader like Jordan, and another starter and a 4* freshman as well. Iowa fights through though and still looks like a NCAA Tournament team.
