I don't think it's that far fetched. Iowa can score at an elite level, has one of the best college players playing a position nobody else can match-up with and college basketball doesn't have any dominant teams this year.
If there's ever a time for a random team to come out of nowhere, it's this year. Even random programs like Rutgers, Duquesne, East Tennessee State and Liberty are getting votes to be (or ranked in) the top 25. No offense to those teams, but it really helps them to not have North Carolina, Syracuse, other historically good programs not taking up spots this year.
Next year Iowa rolls out the same exact squad but healthy. Fran won't screw that up.

ISU loses a heart breaker, and Twins doesn't skip a beat. Is right back here trying to troll a top 25 team and Garza. I think it is past time to shut this thread down, every post in it by a Clone fan just reeks of Iowa jealousy at this point.
You kind of swing back and forth on the records matter when evaluating a player debate.
He is, the shot he made to win it today was awesome. Well some good amount of luck to but hey he made it. Cockburn is raw but a damn good player for them as well. Good to see my 2nd favorite team be good again.
