I wish Stone was coming back and also wish him the best at the same time. I hope he didn't get bad advice, but I think the best he could hope for is 4th round with the possibility of going undrafted. He isn't as irreplaceable as Epenesa will be once he announces.
Would have to guess it is 99% they are going at this point. Stranger things have happened, but I think it is pretty far fetched that either are coming back and rightfully so.
I dont think Stone could have improved his stock by coming back so it makes sense for him to go if he is looking to start earning $$.
Should be no problem. Hawks have been beating Georgia on the recruiting trail quite a bit lately.
While I agree that his measurables won't get any better, it is still risky to declare early and have the possibility of going undrafted. He is probably pretty close to getting a degree and right now it would be a free ride with the possibility of improving your draft stock some too.
That sucks. I guess I was thinking maybe one of them made a promise they'd get a degree or something
Nothing I've heard of, and it seems they are both projected to be at least first round draft picks and maybe even top 10 or top 5.
They either have to love it at Iowa or promised a family member they'd get their degree otherwise they're gone IMO

I'm not trolling anyone. King promised a family member he'd get his degree and loved Iowa so he came back. That would be the only scenario Wirfs or Epenesa came back IMO
Beating out Georgia for two guys backing up the Oregon State kid is "beating Georgia on the recruiting trail quite a bit lately"?
