Graham Couch: Iowa Basketball is a mid-major roster

So when we can't make fun of Garza's basketball abilities anymore because he's playing at an All American level we turn to ragging on his dad. Good stuff, Cyclone Fanatic.
It could have been a few posts and over with but someone wouldn’t give up defending Frank Madoff Garza without even knowing his back story I guess.

Its really odd Prohm isnt starting Conditt.

At this point, what is Jacobson giving the team?

It was explained why he isn't starting Conditt and it kind of makes sense (Avoid early foul trouble more or less) but at this point you have to get him in the starting lineup

What kind of logic is that anyway? So you don't want to play him because he could potentially pick up fouls? So you limit his time because of a possibility? Lets say he does get in foul trouble even 1/2 the time, well that leaves 1/2 the games he doesn't that he could have an even has a bigger impact. Instead you never get that because you sat him.

Conditt played 31/45 against TCU.

Young played 14 and Jacobson played 22.

I have a feeling this is a new normal, not a blip.

We're clearly our best when we're 4/1 with Conditt being the 1.

Who starts matters, yes, but minutes ultimately matter more.

This would make sense if he didn't play the most minutes by far of any big man lol
