Agreed. There are numerous great college players who weren't lottery picks. Nick Collison wouldn't be a lottery pick in today's NBA.

I'll gladly take a 1st team All American candidate who will likely have Iowa playing in the only meaningful March tournament.

Garza not being a lottery pick actually is to Iowa's benefit. They likely get another year of him with a healthy Bohannon and Nunge returning.
