All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

I'm not sure, it confused me too. Slovis was reeling form that hit that put him down, so much so it only took another couple plays before he was completely knocked out of the game. For his long term health, it was probably better he got knocked out when he did.

So if Slovis didn't get a concussion you think USC wins? Got it

I didn't have to post this because I definitely don't agree with it but I don't want Iowa fans to think I'm cherry picking. Purdy #7, grad transfer QB Iowa is after #3. I'm going to be sick if they land him

So the cheap shot is actually what knocked him out of the game? You must be very proud.

Wasn't USC driving to possibly take the lead when Slovis went out? USC had all the momentum in the game at the time. It was going to be tough for USC to win with their 3rd string QB.

LOL, no. They did recover an onside kick, as they didn't want to kick to ISM, as they didn't have the speed to contain him.

When did you know ND had the game in hand? Was it the first time ISU touched the ball and fumbled?

Nope, on the 2nd possession when Purdy fumbled. You just can't turn it over on your first two possessions against a 10-2 team like ND and expect to win. In fact, you need the opposite to happen.... you need ND to turn it over and ISU to play a clean game for a chance to beat a team like that.

They scored on the play of the cheap shot. He had released the pass that ended up making it 24-28 when Lattimore slammed him on his head.

So you didn't watch the play. He hit him, it wasn't late at all. The QB fell back and smashed his head on the turf.

Yeah especially since ISU's Defense actually showed up after the fumble and held them to a FG. Purdy's fumbles were killer this year.
