All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

Theres a difference between an injury report and losing someone for the year, IMO.
Not grumpy at all, Im saying you are probably capable of googling a roster status yourself.

Yeah and on any roster I found Bailey would've been listed as a senior this year. Just like the one that you posted did. Again, I had no idea what week he went down or that he'd be able to redshirt.

You just seem grumpy. I had no idea what week Bailey was injured or that a medical redshirt was possible. How closely do you pay attention to Iowa's injury report?

I haven't made my All Iowa team roster for next year. That's kind of why I initiated the convo.

He played as a true freshman so he still has his redshirt. His brother took his R so he can graduate with him.

So you were looking at rosters but asked who's coming back? Weird.

Right. But if he was playing as a senior this year, which he was, it's not like he could take a redshirt. I didn't know he was injured early enough to qualify for a medical RS. Though apparently JP thinks I should've known.

No I asked who was coming back. Then you posted the link to the roster. Then I looked at it.

You should pour yourself a drink or something. You seem on edge.

No need to be so salty.

He didn’t take a medical redshirt. He just took his fifth year. Doesn’t need a medical.

You said "on any roster I found."

You may need a drink yourself.

On any roster I found he "would've" been listed as a senior. Meaning I didn't actually look at a roster until you posted your link. In a huff.
He was injured the day before you posted this (he was on your team). About a week later it was heavily assumed he was out for the year and would get a RS.
After week 5. Toren clearly wasn't happy with me taking him out of my starting lineup. Dayum kid.

QB - Stanley
RB - Sargent
RB - Young
WR - Milton
WR - Smith-Marsette
TE - Kolar
OT - Jackson
OG - Knipfel
C - Linderbomb
OG - Paulsen
OT - Wirfs

DL - Epenesa
DL - Lima
DL - Golston
DL - Bailey
LB - Rose
LB - Spears
LB - Colbert
S - Eisworth
S - Stone
CB - Hankins
CB - Oji

There is zero grumpiness or any other adjective you want to use for me. I'm just saying I figured you would know, since you thought that much of him.

Yeah so after week 5 he was still on my All Iowa team. Yet you're saying I should've known he was injured inside the 4-game window and would miss the rest of the season to qualify for a RS. Makes perfect sense.

I do think a lot of Bailey, great DE.

What week was Geno Stone injured and how many weeks did he miss?

I dont think much of what you've posted in this hour period has made much sense TBH.

So getting back to the topic of the thread, since this year's post-bowl team is pretty much set, what's next year's squad looking like. Purdy, Goodson, and Hall are obvious to start the season. What's ISU have coming back at WR, OL, TE? Who comes back on D?
WR: Milton and Shaw are the big ones. A lot of young talent on the roster. Shaw is going to be a stud, but my prediction for ISU’s best WR isn’t yet enrolled.

OL: Downing and Newell. Replacing 3-4 OL hurts, but the guys stepping in will be more talented. Just hope they’re ready.

TE: Everyone returns. Excited to see what Loving-Black can offer.

Defense returns a ton.

I think you're just itchin' to argue there killer.
Nope, not at all. Just very suprised that in your own words that you didnt know a "great player" still has another year to play and was injured roughly the same time you had him on your list.

You can keep inserting adjectives to describe how I'm not feeling or say it's been a bad week or say I need to drink if you'd like to I guess.

At WR I'd say T. Milton and B. Smith, putting Smith-Marsette at all-purpose. TE is Kolar obviously, LaPorta next in line. Newell maybe makes it. Rose and Vance at LB with either Niemann or Colbert.
