All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

Not necessarily. This thread isn't about which team has better players, but rather who are the single best player at each position. One team could be way better due to better depth and still not have the best players. Choosing a player from one team over another from the other team doesn't say one team was better, just that player was better.
Taking on player over another doesn't mean the second player was bad, just that on equal footing, one was likely better than another. On the running back debate, I would start with Hall (both schools wanted him), but Goodson wouldn't be a bad choice either (both schools wanted him too). I like both players. Stanley was a very productive college player, but hard to find any football experts not fans of Iowa or family members, that wouldn't pick Purdy first. Offensive line is a bit harder to judge from a casual fan basis as watching on TV you don't often get to focus there unless there was a penalty. Having said that, Wirfs would be my first choice of linemen. Jackson has excellent talent as well, but likely not as special a year as he hoped. If picking the best offensive linemen, I might pick both of them and JGJ and then slide one of them to guard as the choices at guard aren't as strong.

Anyone saying that would have been full of it considering Jones started the first game his junior season and then not another single game the rest of his career.
Beast on special teams though, always need guys like that.

Last offseason as in one year ago? No way that is true. He started one game his junior year and was pulled after a half. Why would there be hype around him last offseason heading into his senior year?
Seemed to be a great person and locker room guy. Never clicked for him as a starter, but he was good on special teams. Need guys like that.
He did have some hype and then played an awful first game starting at MLB and was quickly replaced. He was out of place that whole game. His attitude never seemed to change though and was a great locker room guy and good at special teams. He was still an asset.

Where do you even find three of those? I get team rankings which nobody uses but the other three seem made up
