Actually that is likely not what they were buying...they were likely buying the story of how many tickets would be sold to travelling Cyclone fans, which I believe the delivered on. That will be what bowl reps buy in the future.
ISU special teams were embarrassing really, did they fire their special teams coordinator yet?

Well I was told that Pollard sold the Purdy vs. the ND Defense matchup and that was what got them into the Camping World Bowl as absurd as that sounds.

One thing that doesn't get mentioned about that play is the nice recovery by Davonte there. That could have easily bounced off of him and out of bounds, which you see on a lot of fumble recovery attempts. He snatched that fumble perfectly.

Kid is one of my favorite players. I don't fault guys leaving for playing time, but always will respect a guy a little extra for sticking it out after getting passed up. Him and Amani are true team guys and deserve all the thanks being spread their way by fans and the staff.
I dont think they have a coach dedicated to special teams. I may have heard/read that wrong though and I am not sure where I heard/read it.
I know that's why he can't come up with it. But he doesn't troll.
