Different metrics different teams. B1G is better top to bottom. SEC is top heavy.
I’m good for 8 conference games. I’m also good for only counting division games in determining division champs.
I ran across this blast from the past. You got Iowa, Penn St., Michigan, Ohio St., Michigan St., Indiana, Northwestern, Minnesota, that were all better against the run that ISU.
The Big10 had 6 top 50 rushing teams, the Big12 had 5 top 50 rushing teams.
News alert for the big ten, they invented this thing called the forward pass. Everybody else is doing it and so are the pros. Maybe give up the wing T and triple option.

After reading hawk trolls last posts, I now disagree with your post. You want to go by percentages. 5/10ths is greater than 6/14ths. So big ten was better.
The Big10 had 50% of its team in the top 55 rushing offenses, and so did the Big12. So as I said, all of those front 5's > ISU's front 5
Are you saying you were happy with ISU defensive performance this year? I mean that was disappointing going from the 14th best rushing D. to the 47th best rushing D.
Do you really think you had a formidable rushing D like you did last year? I mean your first response was the Big10 doesn't play offense, when we were talking rush D and you and I both know the Big10 rushes the ball as well or better than the Big12.

I could have cut it at 45, and then it would be 5 and 5. If you cut it at 55, then it is 7 and 7. I get why you guys want to cut it at 50 now.
Were you happy with the falloff in ISU rush defense this year? To regress from #14 to #47 when ISU didn't lose anyone on the defensive front 5 is pretty shocking. I think you told us that no Big10 front 5 was better than the #47 ranked ISU rushing D.
Good Lord, you are the only one cutting it anywhere. Are you that scatterbrained that you don’t notice that? First 50, then 55, now 45. If you gotta bounce that much, you must have low confidence in what you are saying.
Good Lord, don't you realize you are playing in the smallest of margins trying to say that ISU played in some loaded rushing conference. @CyTwins lives in the smallest of margins, he dictates the rules here, so you have to live there with him. This whole stupid thing is an example of that.
