Very unlikely.
FWIW, he just started following Tyler Barnes on Twitter.
Stanley is likely to be our 3rd consecutive starting QB to end up on an NFL roster. I'll defer to the coaching staffs judgement on who should be next but I think they're pretty happy with Petras. Why not?
3 of the Hawks last 4 starters made their way onto NFL rosters. I’ll trust them on this...Stanley is likely to be our 3rd consecutive starting QB to end up on an NFL roster. I'll defer to the coaching staffs judgement on who should be next but I think they're pretty happy with Petras.

It's not the Iowa way to get transfers.Newman is quite a bit better than Stanley who is obviously better than the Oregon State kid. No brainer to try to get him. I'd by pissed if I was an Iowa fan and they weren't trying to get him

You’re talent evaluation skills blow but thanks for the input...Hawks probably should steer clear if you think he’s good.Newman is quite a bit better than Stanley who is obviously better than the Oregon State kid. He has had a really rough 2019. For his sake, I hope 2020 is better for him.
Assuming Iowa is an 7-8 win team with the Oregon State kid what would it look like with Newman? 9-10 wins+?

Like I said, it was mostly from watching just our matchup. Luckily my wife didn't make me watch much ISU this year, so the sample size was pretty small. Watched their UNI game, Iowa game, bowl game, and a little bit of the OSU game (surprisingly not the end). So yes, with that sample size, wasn't very impressed. They looked downright poor when playing the two good defenses they went against.Yes because one single game encompasses an entire season lol. That's like me saying I wasn't impressed with Iowa's defense this year. They gave up 24 points to USC with almost half the game left and if it wasn't for USC playing their 3rd string QB the rest of the game, they would've given up 40 points.
You're a pretty decent poster but this is very ignorant comment from you. Iowa had three transfers playing significant time or starting this year. It's not the Iowa way to get transfers.
Hard call. Probably north of that.Assuming Iowa is an 7-8 win team with the Oregon State kid what would it look like with Newman? 9-10 wins+?
