Anthony Johnson is better than Hankins who I thought struggled this year. Otherwise seems decent. Jones deserves to be on there on offense otherwise that's spot on. The dude caught 76 balls for 877 yards that's absurd to leave him off

So hold on.. lol. You said that this shouldn't be 50/50, yet here we are with 50% of the offense and defense being Iowa State guys.

That special teams though!
Which I actually agree to be true. Give Iowa our special teams and they probably drop 1-2 more games. Give us Iowa's special teams and we probably win 1-2 more games.

It's the difference between winning and losing.. we saw that in the Texas game. Matt Campbell has to put this at the top of his list for next season.

Lol I know he literally just agreed with everything we have been saying. Iowa State had the better offense, Iowa had a slightly better defense and special teams was the difference. I mean he was 50/50 and that was leaving off Jones, Vance and Johnson

WR was the hardest spot to pick, in my opinion.

Brandon Smith (37 rec, 439 yards, 5 TD) Missed 5 games with an injury
Tyrone Tracy (36 rec, 589 yards, 2 TD)
ISM (44 rec, 722 yards, 5 TD) Also had 108 rushing yards and 3 rusing TD

Pettway (55 rec, 676 yards, 6 TD)
Jones (76 rec, 877 yards, 2 TD)
Milton (35 rec, 722 yards, 3 TD)

Smith's production over 13 games would look something like 60 rec, 713 yards and 8 TD.

I figured ISU fans would realize how important special teams are. Do they not count or something when doing this exercise?

I think Iowa had guys on their defense that were a lot more impactful than the guys on our defense, which made their defense a lot more solid.

So leaving off the guy with by far the most catches and most yards probably isn't a good thing. Jones was better than Milton this year if you want to leave one ISU WR off

Really interested to see what ISU does with open OL and DL spots.

The OL has young talented players that have good size and had good offers out of HS, but a lot of youth.

The DL has a lot of numbers particularly at DE, so it’ll be interesting to see what adjustments are made there to accommodate.

The Iowa defense wasnt slightly better, it was flat out better.

Heacock and his group took a step back this season.

I think we understand how important they are.. but they were not initially listed in the All-Iowa Team, and you ridiculed us for thinking the 22 players on offense and defense would be half Iowa State players.
