All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

I haven't even thought about the Big 12 next year. Duggan at TCU scares me though
Really? His stats make Stanley's from this year look amazing in comparison. 59.4 vs 53.4 %, 7.4 vs 6.1 avg, 16/7 vs 15/10, 131.2 vs 113.6 rating... and that isn't even factoring in the difference between B10 vs B12 defenses too.

I guess I'm just not seeing it.

He only played against 3 top 30 defenses, one being Iowa's. He played 7 Big12 games vs sub 50 defenses, plus the #123 ranked ULM defense and a FCS defense. That is 9 games to inflate you offensive numbers.

ISU played the 5th hardest schedule IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY. LOL inflated

He's not at Iowa so I expect him to actually improve. There's a reason Iowa State and Iowa wanted him

Right, Purdy did not play that well against the #15 defense that's terrific defending the pass. I'll agree. He did not put up a TD and that's not good. That was also the one game this year Purdy didn't have a TD. Nate Stanley didn't have a TD in 5 games this year. Three of them being against the #66 Nebraska defense, the #80 Illinois defense, and the #99 Purdue defense.

Stanleys stat line against Nebraska was 11-24, 99 yards, 0 TD's, 1 INT. That's laughable but Keith Duncan saved his a** and saved it on multiple occasions.

Stanley was clutch on that last drive against Nebraska, but you are right, Duncan saved Iowa that game.

At what point do you think Campbell will start putting an emphasis on special teams?

Iowa State played 3 top-30 defenses this year (Iowa, TCU, Notre Dame). Brock's stats in those games are below.
68%, 745 yards, 3 TD's, 0 INT's

Iowa played 4 top-30 defenses this year (Michigan, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Minnesota) Stanley's stats in those games are below.
55%, 820 yards, 5 TD's, 3 INT's

Yeah, Nate was wildly inconsistent this year. A couple of the better games came against Minn and Wisconsin, the #14 and #8 ranked defenses in the country respectively where he went for 381 yards at 61%, 4 TDs, and 0 picks against them. Good thing about the games you listed, Nebraska, Illinois, and Purdue, he did what he had to get the team a win, including a ballsy drive late in the game against Nebraska.

Iowa played 5, you are missing Penn St. Plus when was I saying Nate was better this year? I said Purdy had inflated stats playing tons of sub 50 defenses.

A ballsy drive? Lol he was playing a 5-6 team with a terrible defense.. He for sure played well on that final drive but Nate Stanley did not win you that game. If he played that way against anyone with a heartbeat they would've gotten throttled with that offensive performance.

Question for the hawks so I understand your thoughts. I don’t care about this peeing match but trying to see what is right or wrong. Is sagarins rankings crap? How about AP? I’m wondering.
