Wasn't asked. You know what is really funny? Your longing for approval from me and other Clone fans. Awkward. Very awkward.Funny that you don't give Hawk fans credit for being Bowl game experts as well then.

Oh I thought you asked why Iowa doesn't win as much as Texas.
Gotcha. Either way, saying ISU would win the Big 10 West ever is absolutely childish and pretty disrespectful to Wisconsin.
I'm leaving Christmas day to go watch Iowa State play Notre Dame in Florida. Pretty rough
Yes. And since Ferentz has been at Iowa, Texas has been to multiple national championship games. So if Iowa is putting more players to the NFL than Texas (which is the point of recruiting I guess) then shouldn’t they be having more success than Texas.
I have no idea what the committee uses for SOS. I showed you a ton of info of how the media uses it that's why I use it. I'm not just making up some random websites and referencing them like they're legit
I respect Wisconsin. I'm not even saying Iowa State would win the Big 10 West. I'm saying it's so much harder to make the Big 12 Title game than it is to win the Big 10 West.I agree
Things that would be better than going to Orlando between Christmas and New Years.

There will not be one single metric to assist the committee. Rather, the committee will consider a wide variety of data and information.
I do like the new Cytwins.com metric, has promise. Maybe you can submit your methodology to the CFP committee and Barta will let you know if it's legit or not.

Why am I not surprised you don't travel to bowl games
I'd love to see some links to anyone using this metrics from those random websites you posted. I provided you many instances of people citing Sagarin
Texas has had 3 different coaches in the past 10 years. Charlie Strong won 6 games his first year, 5 games, and then 5 games before he was fired.Over the past decade, they have had more success than Texas. I have no idea back when Texas was playing in national championship games if Iowa was putting more guys in the NFL. I know that they have in the past 10 years, and in those past 10 years Iowa's been better.

My oh my lol.I've been to 2 NY6 bowl games that Iowa played in and several New Years Day bowls. I don't waste my time or money going to bowls like the Holiday bowl or Camping World Bowl. I would say the one non major bowl game I would go to is Nashville, just because of the city would be a blast and the proximity.
The same case can be made for plenty of schools. It certainly isn't the players fault they have stunk. Over the last 10 years, the have pulled the following 4 or 5* recruits.
'20 - 13
'19 - 17
'18 - 19
'17 - 6 (down year)
'16 - 17
'15 - 13
'14 - Whatever, do I even need to go on?
How Texas isn't top 5 every single year is beyond me.
I'd love to see a link saying the CFP committee exclusively uses the Sagarin SOS metric.

You have to stop being so reasonable! That is the point isn't it? Ferentz actually develops players, where Texas and USC are handed 4* NFL starter kits for players and still can't get them to the NFL.
As I said earlier, CMC long term success is going to be determined on how well he develops players and finds under valued players. He sees to be good at this, and should be able to continue his success at ISU. Like you said an Iowa or ISU isn't going to out recruit others, they have to out develop others.
