I think Michigan was Goodson, can't remember if Georgia was in play there. Probably thinking of last year's QB Padilla.

* Someone beat me to it.
Nah Michigan wasn't either. His other big schools were WVU, Cincy, ISU, Nebraska, Michigan State, Kentucky, etc. No blue blood offers but a lot of good schools on that list.

Georgia tried to flip Padilla, but couldn't. This year they stepped up their game, to try to get Hogan and it didn't work this year either.

“I’ve been solid with the Hawks for a long time, and everybody knows. It’s very clear.” That hasn’t stopped staffs from trying to change his mind, however. Georgia planned to land a helicopter at the Grapevine Faith 50-yard line but the school’s proximity to DFW airport prevented the stunt from taking place. Georgia offensive coordinator James Coley told Deuce he could play right away as a true freshman. Oklahoma State’s staff told Deuce he could throw it 50 times a game. Baylor is “not giving up,” Kris said, “and they’re literally 80 minutes that way (south).”

I think Baylor and Oklahoma St are probably fine with who they are getting.

Deuce probably would have been a good back up plan for them for sure.

This kid is gonna be special. Doesn't hurt being able to hone your skills throwing passes to Jason Witten in practice. Hope Georgia coaches are off suicide watch since he signed.
