Come on, they got a few fat high school kids that pushed around some smaller kids and managed to get higher ratings. I'll take skill players any day, regardless of where they rank. They are dominating the in-state recruiting for sure.

Nearly 100% of these kids go to camps and get evaluated. They aren't just pushing around smaller kids.Come on, they got a few fat high school kids that pushed around some smaller kids and managed to get higher ratings. I'll take skill players any day, regardless of where they rank.

The game of football is still mostly won or lost on the line of scrimmage imo.

You use 247's own rankings and not the composite? That's... interesting. Sucks losing Gunnerson to Nebraska, but at least Iowa didn't lose out to an instate school for any of they guys they wanted while also getting the top rated one.Hopefully they keep up the domination of getting 1 out of 4 in-state 247 4 stars. I can handle that level of domination.
These kids are pushing around other kids that may not be as big, strong or capable. Once they get to college, they have to play against everybody else who is. Then the kid who was a promising star doesn't seem quite so promising. Give me the gifted athlete every time.Nearly 100% of these kids go to camps and get evaluated. Apparently Gunnerson doesn't want to play football after the month of November. You use 247's own rankings and not the composite? That's... interesting. What's the 2021 instate class looking like for you guys? Lot of P5 talent from the looks of it.

So only Iowa's recruits play against smaller less talented kids OR all d1 players likely play against folks that are less talented. Did you know that college football players push around guys then they go to the nfl. It is kinda why the have rounds in the draft. There is some way to evaluate and value recruits. These kids are pushing around other kids that may not be as big, strong or capable. Deuce Hogan was a really good get for Iowa. Georgia tried landing a helicopter at the 50 yard line of his HS field to sway him at the last minute. Have a feeling Hok fans will NEVER say “gonna drop a Deuce on you” or other lame variations of it over the next few years.
Or Goodson saw what Georgia had in their backfield and realized playing at Iowa would be 1000% easier.Georgia is getting used to losing to Iowa in recruiting battles.

I guess I thought he had an offer from Georgia, but 247 says he does not. My badLol no way Georgia wanted Goodson
I think Michigan was Goodson, can't remember if Georgia was in play there. Probably thinking of last year's QB Padilla.Or Goodson saw what Georgia had in their backfield and realized playing at Iowa would be 1000% easier.
They wanted Padilla.
