OSU isn't OU.
Pollard did say:
"The only difference between ISU and schools that didn't get in is that ISU is already in the Big 12." Yikes!
and well behind a 9 win Iowa team.Ahead of 10 win Minnesota with a Big Ten West schedule. Thanks for proving my point!
By the way , congrats on the “special “ season you had. Didn’t live up to all the Randy Pete hype that we had to read all year.Am I supposed to be upset that the Big 12 would fall apart if the two most important schools in a 10 team league were to leave?
You think given "the grind of the Big 10 defenses" you play that you would be more worried about not having a proven QB. Could be a lot of INT's comingIt's a ? for sure but if the o-line is solid I'm not too worried about it. Jackson coming back would be huge but I think he'll go early.
It's weird but the Hawks haven't had too many issues with 1st year QB starters.
Randy's a moron, so if you're reading his material it says a lot about you.By the way , congrats on the “special “ season you had. Didn’t live up to all the Randy Pete hype that we had to read all year.

UNI also. But I think you meant only FBS schoolsI'm well aware of that. That wasn't the argument though it was about wins against teams with a winning record.. Iowa has 3 (Minnesota, Iowa State, Miami OH). Iowa State's comes against Texas. I'm not here ranting and raving about how good ISU is or even trying to say they're better than Iowa because I don't think they are, I was simply saying Iowa's resume isn't anything to rant and rave about either.
He "had" to read it though.Randy is awful
But you read through all this carnage-says a lot about youHe "had" to read it though.
I don't read Randy's articles at all. I started a thread on putting him to pasture. But you read through all this carnage-says a lot about you
If the o-line is good and the Hawks have a decent/good running game it just makes things easier for a QB. Especially in a play action type offense. You think given "the grind of the Big 10 defenses" you play that you would be more worried about not having a proven QB. Could be a lot of INT's coming
Pollard understands where ISU stands, but yikes those are some really harsh things to say about ISU. If I said those things on here, you guys would bash the heck out of me.

“The Big 12 exists because we’ve got Texas and Oklahoma in the room. If we take Texas and Oklahoma out of the room, we’re the Mountain West Conference, and we’re gonna get $3 Million.”
Agreed on the o-line statement. I think if Iowa wants to have a decent/good running game then Goodson needs to take a big step and start taking the bulk of the carries. This will open the play action which are easier throws to read and make. If you are asking a young QB to sit back there in known passing situations, it could be a long season. If the o-line is good and the Hawks have a decent/good running game it just makes things easier for a QB. Whoever starts next year can't be worse than Stanley
I hope you are right and the next QB is better than 26-12 over the next three years. Would be awesome.
