All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

Iowa lost 3 games this year to the #8, #10, & #14 ranked teams. They also beat 4 Bowl eligible teams going 4-3 overall vs bowl eligible teams.

ISU went 6-0 vs non bowl eligible teams and went 1-5 vs bowl eligible teams. It isn't easy to beat Bowl quality teams, but Iowa did manage to beat 4 of them.

Why I say that Iowa would either have the same record or a better record with ISU's schedule and ISU would either have the same record or a worse record with Iowa's schedule.

Both 8-4 if they swap schedules IMO. That's probably generous for Iowa considering our schedule was so much more difficult but I'm in a good mood today

And we still had a way harder conference schedule

ISU played 3 ranked teams, Iowa played 3 ranked teams

ISU played 5 Big12 bowl eligible teams, Iowa played 5 Big10 Bowl eligible teams

ISU played 4 Big12 non bowl eligible teams, Iowa played 4 Big10 non bowl eligible teams.

Again, I'm not saying that Iowa State is better than Iowa.. But you want me to praise Iowa for beating 4 bowl teams when two of them were against Illinois and Miami OH at home..

I don't need you to praise Iowa. Just getting facts straight. Are you happy about how much better Kansas is than Rutgers like @CyTwins?

Purdue, Northwestern and Illinois were all way worse than the second worst team in the Big 12 (West Virginia) and Nebraska = Texas Tech

Congrats on your bad teams being better than the Big10 bad teams. Iowa wouldn't have lost to any of those bad Big12 teams anyway.

I don't think I was saying anything inaccurate.. And I could care less about either of those schools. But this year Purdue, Maryland, Rutgers, and Northwestern were all the same as Kansas and Iowa got to play 3 of them.

Iowa didn't play Maryland. And you are bragging up the Big12 bottom feeders over the Big10 bottom feeders like @CyTwins? LOL man, Iowa wasn't losing to any of the bottom 4 Big12 teams, that is for sure.

TCU would be a top half of the Big Ten team and they are a bottom 4 of the Big 12. Thanks for proving my point!

Iowa didn't lose to a team ranked lower than #14 all year long. They beat OSU, K-State and LOL at Iowa losing to a horrible Texas team. Iowa would have gone 10-2 with ISU schedule.

Sagarin has Texas better than Minnesota and USC. Iowa stormed the field after beating a horrible team at home?
