Firstly, unless you’re psychic and read his mind, my impression of his reaction is at least as valid as yours.

Secondly, you didn’t actually offer any “information”. You made a vague observation.

If you want to claim that you’re offering some kind of insider information, then say so. Try harder next time.

No, I’m not trying to “make myself look important”, genius. I was offering an opinion, disagreeing with someone who made a random statement that my observation differed with, apparently based on equivalent information. That’s how message boards work.

And apparently I was mistaken—mainly because you didn’t present your opinion as anything other than a random observation.

See? Simple logic.

The last time I had anything resembling “connections” in the football.program was in the late Eighties. While I might have had a couple of interesting conversations in the Nineties, that was also a long time ago. I don’t ”pretend” otherwise. I have zero need to “look important”.

So feel free to stop acting superior and being a jackass. Pretty please with sugar on top.

Yeah, I'm thinking he'll want to play in the bowl game, but even that's not a guarantee if it's a close game throughout. Although, he just might be 2nd string behind Hall in the bowl game.

I'm a bit surprised that only three true freshmen have played the majority of the season. I kind of don't see the point in burning King's redshirt when he only played a little bit in the secondary and didn't contribute a whole lot to special teams. Miller played a fair amount on defense though and I liked what I saw out of him.

Looking at this list, it appears that CMC can use any true freshman he wants to today in the Bowl, without blowing any additional redshirts. Is that right?

And Jirehl is the only one close. My main point being that either Loving-Black or Dean could help with three TE sets.

I like having that flexibility.

I’m most years, I’d say that for most guys, UNI would be one of the four games they see time in. With this bunch, I’m not so sure it’s “most”.

It would be nice to think we have some really good young (freshmen) talent, that are just too good not to keep off the field. I think our youth bodes well for us in the future, regardless of what happens this year.

I think it's clear that Sama, Brahmer and Sadowski will play their fair share this year. Kohl's minutes will probably depend on Rocco's health and success. I remember Same getting in on a couple tackles, but I don't remember how many minutes he played.

I can't remember Surges, Patton or Hansen honestly. They could've played more than I realized or contributed on special teams, but I'm not sure. Anyone have any knowledge on this?

Surges, Patton and Hansen were on special teams.... I agree that Sama, Sadowsky and Brahmer will be the 3 freshmen that play the entire season. And I agree with what you said about Kohl. I would like to see him redshirt if possible. Same looked really good in the 4th qtr. He will probably redshirt because we have plenty of depth at DE.

I'm not sold on the current recruiting class, but right now this team has A LOT of young talent. I think in two years we will have one of the best TE groups in the country... Our secondary always seems to be good, even if we have players leave.... We have some really good underclassmen on the d-line. O-line will probably always be a concern, but we always have good RBs, and our QB room is decent.
