All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

You can't be serious. Clones gave up about 500 yds to Kansas AND 31 pts. Iowa held Illinois to 10 pts. By far their lowest pt total of the season.

Illinois gave up 34 points to Eastern Michigan and lost to them. Iowa scored 19 points on Illinois. Just an FYI Eastern Michigan is tied for last place in the MAC West

The discussion was Defense but you apparently don't want to talk about that. I have flat out said that my all-Iowa team would be the Cyclone offense with the Iowa defense. The 2 teams are lead by opposite side of the ball. That's just the way it is. If the Hawks offense or the Clones defense were better each teams seasons would have looked a lot different.

Who's fault is it your offense is so bad? Brian? Kirk? Stanley?

Iowa State would be favored on a neutral field vs Iowa and Minnesota

I might have believed this had it not been for Texas A&M being at 14. That team is GARBAGE. It hasn't done crap all year. Point to me their best win, South Carolina? Team is a joke. Which also brings me to the point I have zero understanding how the CFP is ranking Alabama and Utah ahead of Oklahoma.

It really doesn't make a lot of sense as to why this year the committee is viewing OU's loss greater than they have viewed OU's losses the last two years.

OU has played a more difficult schedule but has probably cut it close more than Alabama.

Cut it close....but won....and that's all that matters. Close games will happen when you play a tougher schedule and have 3 wins over CFP top 25 teams

How do you understand bama? They have ZERO wins against top 25 teams let alone current CFP top 25 AND they have an easier strength of schedule than OU. Them being ahead makes no sense what so ever.
I understand Bama from the standpoint that the CFP will forever view Bama with incredible bias. So I agree with everything you stated from above. OU's resume is tremendously better than Bama's and the only thing that Bama has going for them is that they have a "quality loss". The Utah thing is what I was puzzled about.. Also, the committee lists LSU's win vs. Texas as a quality win but then talked down that same win when talking about OU.. That's such crap.

Texas A&M is garbage? How?

They are 7-4 with losses to Clemson, Alabama, Auburn and Georgia.
