All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

Yards per game:

Player A: 56 ypg vs one if the toughest schedules in the country

Player B: 51 ypg vs a much easier schedule

On top of that the one time you even saw Player A this season he went nuts. Lol you're such a homer

Of course I'm a homer, but I still put three out of four ISU. I would also have Purdy on the team. Smith did that against better defenses than what Milton has faced and with a worse QB.

Must not have had a catch. Hard to get targets with such a loaded WR group over there

I know you know this, but will take the bait anyways. Smith only played one snap against Minnesota and it was a running play. He didn't play last week. I hope he didn't have a setback and is ready to go against Nebraska.

I guess Hockenson is pretty happy he took home the hardware.
Kolar will end the year with more receptions, TD's, and possibly more yards than Hockenson had last year when he won it. Awards are extremely weird and I have no idea how Kolar was kept off this list.

Hockenson was also a beast at blocking. I'm guessing that is half the award.
Oh Hock was a terrific blocker, but I doubt the reason they didn't Kolar on there was because of his blocking. He's one of the best receiving TE's in the nation and his numbers show that. Like I said, awards are weird. Monte Morris not being a Cousy finalist was also weird.

In all honesty, it probably has a lot to do with what a huge percentage of the Hawks's total offense that the TEs accounted for. Hockenson and Fant. Hockenson's numbers exceeded Fant's so he got the award.
