All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

Nothing compared to the horrific defenses ISU has played.
Total D Rankings out of 130 FBS teams
UNI FCS

Kansas 123

Texas 105
OsU 80
WVU 79
That’s what happens when you play the #1, #12, #13, #14 and #25 offenses in the country.

I’m guessing you don’t want to talk about Iowa playing the #129, #127, #122, #113, #94 offenses.

Cyclone D has really regressed this year.
Having our best DE out for the season has really hurt us along with losing two veteran corners. The secondary has struggled at times year, but that will happen against the meat grinder of a schedule we have and constantly having to go up some of the best offenses in the country each week

Nothing compared? The defending West Champs have possibly the worst P5 offense of all time. They had a 3 game stretch this year where they were outscored 106-6.
NW's offense is horrific (ranked 127). You guys have played 3 equally horrific defenses 120+

Iowa and ISU have played polar opposite schedules. Iowa has faced tougher defenses with worst offenses while ISU has faced better offenses and worst defenses. I think Iowa's Defense is really good this year but it is a little over ranked due to the offenses they have faced. I feel the same about ISU's offense as it is really good but a little over ranked due to the defenses they have faced.

Not equally horrific if NW is possibly the worst of all time on offense.
Look, you can choose a range to compare stats, games, or opponents but ISU has a tougher schedule.

Remember when Hoks used to make fun of ISU fans bringing up S.O.S?
Now all they bring up defense stats all the time and that's it.
I know they have Brain as their next HC, so maybe that's put them in this mood?

#33 is easy now? Plus, I still feel ISU would have either the same record or an extra loss if they played Iowa's schedule.

Compared to #7 you could put your schedule in "cupcake" territory. Don't worry though we have to play at Kansas State this weekend while you get #50 Nebraska

I don’t think people realize how rugged the league is. Ask Indiana, Nebraska, Northwestern or Purdue what it’s like to lose QB (or multiple) over the course of a season.
