Vikings fans...

Hell of a win last night. Cowboys passing offense either looked really really good or Vikings pass defense looked on its heels most of the game. Probably a combo of both. Cousins was grooving without Thielen and finally beat a good team on the road.

Vikings have 6 games left, 4 of them at home. 3 of the home games are their division foes. The division is still very much up for grabs.
Cook was grooving. 87 some reception yards of Cousin’s 245? Meaning he threw for like 170 when not checking down to a RB? He played well, I agree, but Cook was a monster.

The effort put into discrediting Cousins is hilarious. Since the Bears game, he’s doing exactly what Zim and Stefanski want him to.

Many of the throws Cousins made were so damn quick. He had very little time to get the ball off. I was impressed personally and I've been not been a Cousins fan before the past few games.

I've personally come to the conclusion that the Vikings D is overrated to at least some degree. They held up down the stretch this game... they didn't last week. I was fully expecting them to blow it late-game. The CBs have been very poor these year, and the interior run D is often spotty.

Cook is a f***in' machine, but most of that yardage isn't checkdown -- it's on screens, which is a bread-and-butter of Cook's skillset. He is nasty out in space.

Cousins did exactly what was asked of him this game -- ran a 28-point offense which was pretty balanced. Vikings should win a lot of games scoring that much...again, hinging on defense showing up.

Basically Cousins had one bad decision in the GB game, and struggled against a good Bears defense. He's been solid to good pretty much the rest of the games.

No one is making him out to be a world beater, but he is a QB around the top 10-12 in the league. The "can't win big games" thing is tough. Most of his career in Washington he had a pretty bad roster around him and was asked to do way too much, and the OL was brutal last year. The reality is there's basically Rodgers, Wilson and Mahomes that can go out and win games with suspect OL play or without support of a good running game. The Rams can't run the ball now as well and Goff looks lost.

The offense is better than the defense right now. Which some have a hard time wrapping their head around after the last few years.

Vikings D might be a bit overrated, but they basically said we are going to play man 0, load the box to shut down the run and bet we can get to Prescott. The Cowboys OL dominated the pass rush most of the night. I don't know what in the hell Everson was doing last night. He was just going on a speed rush 10 yards upfield and taking himself out of every play. Based on the scheme there probably isn't a set of DBs that can play man that long. So really last night Zimmerman put a hell of a lot on the DBs and Kendricks in coverage, and the pass rush really didn't the job done. That's a good OL, though.

Waynes isn't great, but it was a hit having him out. Hughes actually played well, and as the game went on he was drawing the toughest matchups more often than not. Rhodes has been a really good Viking, but I think his time is up. Unless a game is officiated in a way that allows him to be very physical, he's just not effective, and Waynes, Hughes, Alexander and Hill are probably better options. Rhodes can still be OK if they are playing teams that utilize lots of big receivers that aren't very quick (like GB for example), but there just aren't that many teams like that.

Agree that the D has regressed somewhat from two years ago. Down three starters, I was anxious to see what guys like Hughes were going to do. Against the league's no. 1 offense, I thought they did OK.
Very surprised though that the Cowboys decided on the 4th down to take on Kendricks. He covers that play as good as any LB in the NFL.

Does anyone know why KXNO isn’t carrying this Vikings game? It seems like they randomly don’t carry some Cardinal baseball games during the season as well. I’m sure there’s a reason I’ve just never heard it.

You’re not missing much. Unless you enjoy the Viking dbacks getting abused.

I'll save you the trouble. Rhodes is trash and the Vikings criminally overrated defense is getting abused by a bad offense with a backup QB with almost no experience.

Bad combination of the offense doing nothing (can we throw a pass further than 5 yards?) and the back 7 on defense taking a walk in the park.

With a 'free play' what does Cousins do? Two yard pass. Next play, blind side sack and drops the ball. This is why Cousins will not get an extension from the Vikes after next year.
Maybe Brock can save the Vikings from their QB misery.
