Big 12 Basketball last night

Name a season where Kansas doesn't have three freshmen and a transfer on the floor together at some point. It makes it harder, doesn't it?
None of ours were Adidas purchases though. That makes it harder, yes.

Rivals don't like one another. That's why Farmegeddon is probably not that.
I like KSU just fine. You guys are funny in a sad way and I enjoy watching you spazz out. It amuses me to see how you wound up you get over us.

Hopefully the new emphasis on backing down players will neutralize Doke's game since that's basically all it is. Doubtful, especially at AFH. He's not a good passer or shooter, but it's always going to be tough to stop a guy with that size.

I'm not sure I'm buying KU as FF contenders. It's a lot of the same guys as last season.

He actually doesn’t do much backing down it’s just sealing and dunking and lobs.

No worries, appreciate the normal question. When you are turning it over every other possession, I'd guess it would make a player a little more gun shy to take the lowest percentage shot on the floor.

KU shot the three well in exhibition and will get back to shooting it well with some reps against a few cream puffs. It's all about confidence and KU had no reason to be confident it could even dribble or pass last night. Moss will help but what will help more is simply getting more reps in games and taking care of the ball better..
Thanks for the response. I was shocked at the # of t/o's and how rattled Dotson looked. Will be interesting to see how they progress from here. Sounds like you're taking a patient, logical approach to things.

At the end of every season, you can stack a team's performances from best to worst. No matter how great the team is, one of their games is guaranteed to be their worst. Michael Jordan's 72-10 '96 Bulls lost to a Raptors team that finished 21-61. Bad games happen even to good teams.

I hope that this game will be Kansas' worst game. A great thing about college hoops is that the loss does not affect the pursuit of their goals at all and they go back out a few days later to play again. Heck, if they go out tomorrow and "only" have 20 turnovers then they have improved!

That's pretty optimistic to think that a 2 point neutral site loss to Duke will be the jayhawk's worst game of the season.

They will definitely lose by more than this in a few games. But I'd rank a game where you just miss a ton of shots or allow a team to shoot a high percentage as "better" than a game where you commit 28 turnovers.

If they have 28 turnovers AND also shot less than 30% then yeah, that would go below this.

The fact they had 28 turnovers vs. #4 Duke in MSG and still only lost by 2 (really it was by 5 but had a garbage three at the buzzer) does have me overall kinda optimistic about their ceiling. But we'll see.
