All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

Hard to tell if it's him being good, you guys facing such putrid offenses or a little bit of both. He's not the best DC in the state that's for sure

This speaks for itself.

Iowa has held all 8 opponents under their season scoring average.

Miami (OH) 22 ppg (scored 14 vs Iowa)
ISU 36 ppg (17)
MTSU 25 ppg (3)
Rutgers 15 ppg (zip)
Michigan 31 ppg (10)
Penn State 39 ppg (17)
Purdue 23 ppg (20)
N'Western 11 ppg (zip)

Iowa wasn't even the best defense we faced in the non conference

Agreed. I think UNI was our toughest non conference game and that's not trolling. Best QB and defense we faced without a doubt
I just went and watched them a couple weeks ago. They have talented kids but undersized in the areas you're talking about but I can see how ISU struggled with their speed.

So Weber State, Southern Utah, Youngstown St., North Dakota St., and South Dakota all have better offenses than ISU?
All but 1, yes 1 school in the Country has a better offense than the defending B1G West champion. How is that possible?

You're a fortunate bounce against them from being 4-4 and struggling for bowl eligibility.
We're also a few bounces away from being 8-0.. Just like Iowa is essentially a good offense away from being 8-0. That's how it goes sometimes.
