I seem to remember an Iowa player stealing from their locker room after an NCAA Tournament game.
Honestly, many hawk fans care and follow ISU more than most Iowa State fans. You can really sense their obsession.
Give him credit for really working in the five in a row in football, which is admittedly embarrassing and should never happen.
Basically just nulls the pick, it's pretty much the "I entered a pick previously but now I don't know". Doesn't count toward their accuracy percent in any form.
It's funny how Hawk fans keep trying to rephrase "the right way" without saying it.
True story, Miller and TC had Kakert on the air this morning and they asked him about the Murray Twins. TC, who's a well know Fran apologist has been at a loss for words regarding Iowa's 2020 class. Kakert said that he understands why fans might be disappointed but he also thinks that Fran has earned the benefit of the doubt and has shown that he has had success with under the radar types... LOL you can't make this stuff up!
I'm pretty sure a large majority of them do. They used to call all our athletes "thugs", but now they're just trying to be a slight bit more appropriate I guess?
Wirfs has been in trouble several times over there, but he gets a 10 day (or whatever the creepy number was?) write up by Morehouse in the CR Gazette about what a choir boy he is.
Someone like Peavy spray paints a wall and Iowa fans treat him like he committed murder.
It's just entirely different how the media handles these situations too IMO.
Randy Pete doesn't help matters either. I still don't know why JP even allows him in the building anymore after all the times he's attempted to make ISU and it's athletes look bad.
Just because a terrible (okay...marginal) player has to start for you because you don't have anyone else doesn't make it a success story.
In the basketball thread on ISR I said the Iowa guys were going to go "cloudy" in a couple weeks. They're jumping ship way faster than I thought
Bock knows he's going to Iowa State. He's just trying to soften the blow at this point
