TCU's new uniforms

Those uniforms would look great if TCU was putting together a laser tag team.
What is the rationale that made someone think this was a good idea? Surely there are some reasons for this atrocity.
I also feel like they are borrowing a lot of colors from various schools. I hope they asked for permission.
Especially since U of I owns the rights to black.
I answered no but I may buy a replica version if they can knock off Baylor.
Oh, are Horned Frog able to turn electric purple too? The picture they attached appears yellow and black.
The Athletic dept may be trying to hard with these. I'll give them credit for taking a shot.
Really? ISU has added black uniform pieces to their arsenal but haven't gone for any crazy hues or out of this world designs. I'm not a huge fan of black but it isn't uncommon for teams to now wear black as a neutral color even if it isn't one of their school colors.
Same for red, that was their QB practice jersey color until recently. Pretty sure they didn’t release the rights to the color.

Minor crit: The red outline on the helmet decals needs a gloss finish to pack a proper punch and match the reflectivity of the facemask.
