All Iowa Football Team---Post Bowl Edition

I know they're not very good at all.. I'm saying that right now Iowa has not played very well offensively.. at all. Purdue held Maryland, who has a higher rated offense than Iowa right now, to 14 points last week. I know those things don't really matter, but it's a talking point.

I don't think this game is that close, but if Iowa's defense doesn't play well and they give up a few big plays, which they have against Purdue the last couple of years, this game could be interesting. Iowa doesn't want to leave this game in the hands of their offense, because that's asking for trouble.

As long as Purdue doesn't cheat again Iowa will cover IMO

Iowa is favored by 18 points. I feel that is too many. Expecting a 30-20 type of game myself.

Purdue offense isn't going to score 20 pts. Only chance for 20 Purdue points is a meltdown of turnovers by Iowa or special team gaffes.

Should win and have had success against Tech lately. I worry a bit about the back to back long road trips. Hope to get the W because it would be good momentum for OSU, OU, and TX.

good point. Morgantown and Lubbock aren't the easiest road trips (from a logistical standpoint) I'd imagine.

QB is coming into his own and has been successful the past six quarters albeit four of those were against Maryland. Plus Bell is already really good. He could pose to be a problem. Any win right now would be good.

There's definitely not a skill position player on offense that would even see the field for us. I think Jackson and Wirfs would be on there though. Really the talent gap is just huge this year

I'm not even sure I would take those two. Our offense does great with what we have. Not one weakness in that unit.

Our offense is fast and exciting like a Ferrari. Their offense is boring like a Honda Civic.

Need to see what Purdy can do without Montgomery and Butler. I think Iowa State’s offense next year is going to be pretty awful so we will see if Purdy can take a step forward or if he will regress without those two guys.
