I was chosen in the lottery to be able to buy tickets today. I purchased them right at 11am when it opened up this morning. They are already sold out. Anyone else luck out and get chosen?

I don't know a single one of my friends who didn't get chosen. It's basically the exact opposite of the Masters selection process

I signed up in 2016 and did not get picked so was not sure. Maybe 2016 more people wanted them? I do know the thursday-sunday tickets sold out in less than 10 minutes this morning though

I held off because I think the secondary market will be dirt cheap. I could be wrong though

i'm a huge golf fan and love watching the ryder cup...but it might be the worst in-person sporting event.

there's so many people and so few golfers...you can't see *&^&^% and miss all the big shots unless you sit and watch an empty hole for 3 hrs.

but have fun lol!

After 10 minutes straight of clicking "add to cart" on the sold out match day tickets while simultaneously confessing all of my sins, I finally gave up.

I got in after waiting for 40 minutes. Only tournament tickets I was able to put into cart was the pavilion tickets at 1300 a pop. With fees, taxes, shipping 2 tickets were over 3K. I was like whoa what the heck. I bought these tickets when it was a hazeltine. Looked up my receipt and ticket prices doubled. No thanks. I'll watch the USA lose from home.

I bought Sunday tickets at Hazeltine about a month before the Ryder cup for $100. Id guess secondary market will be cheaper again

I went up for a practice round (which I wouldn’t do again) and the Friday at hazeltine. It’s a cool experience. Like a college football atmosphere at a golf tournament. But it’s super hard to see well and you best have a game plan for what holes you want to see when. The hassle to get to and from the course is great as well. I’m glad I did it but I don’t think I would go again.

They screwed the pooch on this one. Bots and scalpers feasted on the tickets and they sold out insanely fast. I was able to go in 2016 so I’m not super upset but it just seems like a really crappy way to do things

I went in 2016 and had an absolute amazing experience. Your description is the same exact thing for any PGA Tour event.

I got 4 tickets for Friday but sounds like I was one of the few who actually did. Two of my friends got selected as well but didn’t even come close to sniffing tickets. What a terrible process.
