Rank Big 12 Football

Oklahoma is the best in the conference. Next three are Texas, Baylor, & ISU in some order. Tech, OSU, TCU, & WV will be up and down. The two Kansas school are at the bottom, but can be dangerous any given Saturday.

Pretty much every metric values home field by more than 2 points, so ISU should be ahead of Baylor.

1. OU
2. UT
-gap-
3. ISU
4. BU

5. OSU
6. TCU
7. Tech
8. KSU

Still too early for a definitive list IMO but here's some Tiers.....
1.OU
2.ISU/Baylor/UT
3.Tech/OSU/WVU/TCU/KSU
4.KU

With another dud of a season (11 consecutive losing seasons) Kansas has basically lost a generation of fans. They've ran 8 classes of students through with virtually no positive experiences surrounding KU football. Good luck getting heaps of donations and massive ticket sales out of them.

Eh, I think winning the rest besides OU/UT will suffice for proving it.. Not necessarily the next step we are all wanting (& on the verge of), but 8-4 proves we belong.

IMO, anyway.
Proves we belong in what?

Sorry but we are a better team than Baylor despite the loss. Play that game in Waco ten times even in that heat and we win more than half.

1-Oklahoma
2-Texas
3-Iowa State
4-Baylor
5-Oklahoma State
6-Texas Tech
7-TCU
8-Kansas State
9-West Virginia
10-Kansas

lololol

whats its like not having better talent than everyone huh klieman?

and then someone asked him what it was like when he dropped 2 games in a row at loras in 2005

he wasnt happy with that question

For ISU to separate themselves from the middle of the league, they have to win the rest of these games in October. Next three: @WVU, @TTU and OSU are all winnable games but also games that ISU could slip up in. Another clean sweep this month would certainly make up for the two close losses earlier in the year and give ISU a shot to make this another special season. If they drop one or two of them, it can still be a good year, but will be remembered more for the what-ifs.

There just doesn't look to be a ton of separation between teams 2 through 9 even though there obviously is some. Did you know that West Virginia outgained Texas by a yard and a half per play but was -3 in turnovers? Anybody can beat anybody on any given Saturday. Even Oklahoma isn't invincible and Kansas isn't a compete pushover.

I honestly might put Baylor at #2 right now even though I think we're better. They have a home win over us (meaning they own the tiebreaker), a dominant road win over K-State, and they get Oklahoma and Texas both at home. We need them to drop a couple games and we can't afford to lose any ourselves.
