How anyone can even include Drake in anything is beyond me.. it is incredible that people forget thatcwas the absolute worst weather conditions I’ve ever experienced at Trice..by far.
We are talking brutal winds and it raining ice not to mention you couldn’t stop while running you had to slide to stop..

WASU bowl game Purdy threw ball very well accept 1 pass.. 1. Other pick wasn’t his fault really.

I totally agree with you, but a lot of posters on here also didn't give Stanley much slack when he was playing in 40-60 mph winds against Maryland last year or against BC on a skating rink either.
Yeah the Maryland and BC games are why we think Fat Stanley sucks...
Hard to believe that Fat Stanley beat the ISU defense with his legs a few times. That had to really hurt.

Seems like one team was trying to pull out all the stops to beat Iowa. Two trick plays including unveiling Jones as a great thrower. Seems that would have been more wise to use in a game they care more about.

Yeah, I'm not going to put a ton of stock into that... 2017 we were still figuring things out defensively. Last year and this year Stanley looked pretty average against us so there's that too. It would have been fun watching the Iowa faithful turn on him if we wouldn't have dropped 2 interceptions...
