ISU probably would have gotten in FG range if they didn't have the butt fumble.

Seems like trashing Epenesa is one of the go-to coping mechanisms after the loss. Kind of pathetic tbh. If he could transfer to ISU and have immediate eligibility he'd be by far your best defensive player. Iowa is lucky to have him for 1 more year before he's in the League.

I'm not using any excuses. If you don't want to acknowledge the phantom holding call I don't really care
The only people in the world who think that are ISU fans. Maybe everyone else is wrong and you're right, but I doubt it.Eisworth, Rose, Spears and Lima are better college players than him
You acknowledge the phantom intentional grounding? Or do only certain calls / non-calls make a difference?
I think the intentional grounding was legit and it wasn't a game changing call late in the game. ISU doesn't get that holding call they run out the clock and kick the FG. You're comparing apples to oranges
All play different rolls and in different systems than AJE. Iowa and ISU have some good players on D this year. That is a fact.Eisworth, Rose, Spears and Lima are better college players than him

Honest question:Eisworth, Rose, Spears and Lima are better college players than him
Honest question:
Do you see him going pro after this season or do you expect him back next year?
Honestly that was the one thing that I thought maybe I missed, but I seem to remember the trainers running out to him. It was a pretty quick thing though since it was just cramps, so maybe the refs didn't officially count him as injured. If you ever see the replay (I'd rather not watch any of that game again lol) let me know if I was mistaken. Obviously not a huge play but it just seemed to show some of the overall incompetence of the refs.
The "him" of your comment. Didn't think it was that difficult.Who?
Do you mean this year or an additional year?Seems like trashing Epenesa is one of the go-to coping mechanisms after the loss. Kind of pathetic tbh. He was double teamed nearly every play of the game. ISU knows how talented he is that is why they set their blocking scheme up the way they did. Show the damn kid some respect because your team certainly did by double teaming him so often.Epenesa with his 2 tackles and 1 sack in 3 games. Just domination.
Both teams had some bad calls, happens nearly every game. Whining about it makes you look like a biotch.
