It's a bus. Sorry, I don't think many people are going to go out of their way to welcome a bus. I'm guessing that's one of the biggest welcoming parties they've seen. For a bus.

This was advertised well ahead of time and everything. I figured our students would have had that place packed. Disappointing start. Maybe the weather had an impact.
Maybe more people are more along the lines that I am and didn't even know or care that the CGD bus arriving was a thing.
Why? Sounds boring and lame. What’s the point of getting out there to wave at a bus?
Because this is the type of thing that we're known for. We out do everyone else in the nation at this type of thing.
Look what we did in Memphis and San Antonio.
I know we'll make up for it, I don't doubt that at all. I'm just surprised there wasn't a better showing.
At all the rallies I went to in Memphis and San Antonio.... it was insane the amount of people in cardinal and gold.
I haven't read this thread, but I figure this is as good a place as any to put this. Tonight after the storms passed. From Stadium to Stage. I'm taking this as a good omen for the game for ISU. Go State!
It was a Thursday afternoon and all that showed up was a bus. People probably just don’t find it worth it to use pto on that. There will be an outstanding crowd on Saturday.
The crew wasn’t even on the bus?? Literally only a bus pulls up, Cy hops off, and then drives away?
That’s what it sounded like. Not sure why we would expect all of Cyclone Nation to show up for that.
We’ve also all had the opportunity to see the bus in Ames already. This is the same bus they brought when the basketball Gameday was here. It was cool to see once but it isn’t super special. They gave tours and stuff.
