I can't believe that I signed up for a Cyclone Fanatic account to join this discussion. But as an Iowa fan and alum, this isnt a huge rivalry for me. Wisconsin and Minnesota are the teams/fans that I can't stand. I know that you have heard this before, but it is a much bigger game for ISU than Iowa, the game can only hurt the Hawks. A home/home with another Power 5 team would be much more beneficial for the Hawks. IMO

Not trying to troll, even though its probably trolling, but what exactly does ISU bring to the table in this game? To answer the original question. Every scenario I would rather win the Big Ten West! The Big 12 hasn't been a factor recently. Iowa State has never played a football game in January. Playing a school from a state that Iowa recruits from would help the program WAY more.

As I've said many times I only went to Wisconsin because my girlfriend at the time went there. I had ACT scores to go to much better schools, but I was born an Iowa State fan and that will never change.
