Because CMC was drooling yesterday at his presser over the wr talent Iowa had.
He definitely doesn't suck.
Imagine running with a certain narrative for months and then having your idol/hero/savior smash it with one sentence at a press conference.
What do they get for that a medal or a participation trophy? Remember that Barta lost a heck of a lot more than that for Iowa!!

For his sake, I'm hoping he doesn't suffer the QB regression that all other ISU QB's have suffered the last 10 years or so.
I can't believe you think a QB not even in the top 50 for college football at his position is better than a tremendous and clutch top 10 guy

Stanley has definitely been the better QB. I'm not sure how you can argue otherwise but I will enjoy watching you try.
Wait wait, did you think Matt Campbell was going to rag on Iowa's WR's? No sane coach does that to opposing players.
Iowa has played two games so far, while ISU has played one.. No one can say who is better off of two games on a year. This weekend though will be a good test for both QB's. Head to head against two great defenses.
I motion we table the Purdy/Stanley argument until after Saturday.

Agreed. One QB is tremendous and clutch. The other is big and hungry
Look, I like making fun of Stanley as much as the next guy, but in back to back years against us, he's played extremely consistent. The first game he played pretty much lights out and made two good throws, one to cut the lead and then the other to win the game. Last year, he made a good throw to put Iowa into a position to then win the game.
I'm not saying he's unbelievable or anything like that, because I've watched him play other games where it seems like he can't throw a football correctly. I would just like us to actually beat him so these jokes about him can actually stick.
Correct, because the one thing that we can always fall back on is that he didn't lose to Iowa, which is the same argument Iowa fans use with Stanley sometimes.
