I'm a cord cutter with Sling and ESPN package. Wife will be out of town for work (impressively, at an SEC football game) and will miss the ESPN College GameDay show. She's asking to DVR it. It appears ESPN does not allow for DVR on Sling (https://www.dailydot.com/upstream/sling-tv-dvr-cost/) and it only allows ESPN to be viewed on a single device. Any suggestions on how she could view the show the following day? I know ESPN posts clips on YouTube, but not the whole show...

i can send u a vhs of the boardcast. it will be taped over my wedding becuze this is now will be the best day of my life but u have 2 promise 2 send it back after u are done and pls rewind it with the vhs player now not one of those after market rewind over machines. they r very hard on tapes and can break them

Possibly on the ESPN app? Or you could trial a different streaming service for free that offers DVR for ESPN (PSVue does) and then she would have 7 days to watch it and then you could just cancel.

This honestly sounds like a reasonable option at this point. Easier than me being the IT department for my household.

Seems like every year I end up signing up for a trial for a single game or event like this, and it's a PITA. But yes, an option.

I cancelled a YouTube TV free trial after 7 days and it was easy! But...the next day I signed up for it again because I really liked it and have been using it for 20 months without complaint.

Same here, used YouTubeTV for a trial because Dish was in a carriage dispute with Fox and liked it so much that I never canceled it. Only mad that I didn't discover it sooner, best TV service for sports out there.

I think I saw some older Gamedays on regular Youtube...don't recall if it was the whole thing or how recent.

With this being the first time at ISU I wouldn't be surprised if someone put it up there.

Thanks guys. After reading the two articles below, seems like for marginal cost increase, YouTube TV has a lot of advantages over Sling.

I'd be surprised if a 3rd party post stays live for long, since they don't have the rights.

Yeah at least not for long.

I think general highlights would be put up like this though, which is likely what most would be caring about.
